MELBOURNE, Australia, Jan.15 2009 – Bill Spencer, a 30+ year veteran of the printing and marketing industries, has joined Dashwood Consulting (www.dashwoodconsulting.com) in a part-time role as Managing Consultant.
After retirement from PrintSoft didn’t stick, recent discussions have lead to Spencer’s acceptance of this position, where he will be able to bring his large array of sales, marketing, and business development experience and knowledge to the Australian company and its customers.

Spencer, a qualified Industrial Engineer, moved to in Australia from England in 1974 and was closely involved in the early implementation of computer driven cheque production over R&D and production management roles at Leigh Mardon and CPE Australia (Cheque Printers & Encoders) until the early 1990’s.In 1991, Spencer became a Director at PrintSoft, and over his time there, established much of the overseas presence of the PrintSoft organisation.He took on various sales and marketing roles, facilitating the sale of PrintSoft to Australia Post in 2005, and finally finishing his days at PrintSoft as Group Manager of Operations before retiring in mid-2007.
